3 years old (June 2015) * adorable! * Needs a family to fight for him * CHD (PFO) * developmental delays *

November 2018 – “Ronan with WACAP”

He is behind his peers in several areas. Although he is able to sit independently, he cannot yet crawl, stand, or walk. He will interact with other children and nannies occasionally and calls out, “oh, yeah!” Ronan doesn’t cry often, and even when he does, he is not very loud. He enjoys playing on the play mat and will reach for the toys he wants. Once he wears himself out, he will soothe himself with his thumb and fall asleep.

Ronan’s special need is listed as CHD (PFO) with mild obstruction of his left ventricle. There is an ultrasound report available in his file. Ronan also has a sensitive need, and another ultrasound report in the file gives more information. Besides the medical needs, Ronan seems to be delayed compared to same age peers.

He needs a family who is prepared and willing to accept the possibility of delays while encouraging him to reach for the stars!

Grant Available! He has a $4,000 grant available for families who qualify.

“Say hello to Oscar! Oscar is new to our list at HIC. He is almost 3 years old, and has been in care since he was about 5 months old. Oscar had no official diagnosis at the time of his report in Sept. 2016, but they had ruled out Down syndrome and any serious heart issue. Oscar does have undescended testicles that had not been corrected at the time of his report. There were no associated problems with that issue. Oscar has developmental delays of an unknown origin. His gross and fine motor skills as well as his expressive speech show significant delays. Oscar would benefit from, first, a good diagnosis…then, therapies. He would also benefit from having a family of his own! Oscar needs his own cheering team to applaud his efforts, and celebrate his achievements! Please help Oscar find a family to love him.” – HIC

Oscar is currently listed with “Hawaii International Child” (HIC). Go here to see his info.

You can also send me an e-mail to ask questions about Oscar or any other child on TwentyLess. – Jessica

TwentyLess is not an agency, it is an advocacy site run by an adoptive mom (me) who would love to see every child with a family of their very own.
