Ophelia has a Family!

3 years old * glaucoma (blind in left eye) * a little princess who has a ready smile, especially when tickled * 

December 2015 “Ophelia had surgery in her left eye (the right eye has a corneal sclera and cannot be treated). Prior to the surgery, she could only perceive light but now her vision has improved! She is correctly throwing a toy and following it to where it lands! Ophelia is eating, playing and walking on her own! Please find it in your heart to give her a chance- a little bit of love can make a world of difference for this little one!”

Ophelia is 3 years old with glaucoma resulting in blindness in her left eye and has been in care since she was 1 1/2. She is active and in good health! At first, Ophelia was afraid to walk and explore on her own but now she is on the go! She is described as “a little princess who has a ready smile, especially when we tickle her”.
