3 years * blind * low muscle tone * feeding issues * loves being outside! * now “Harriet” with WACAP * lives at Bethel
Olivia is darling! Please watch her video so you can get to know her a little better. Then please share in your networks so she can be seen! She is so young and can make so much progress and get so much love within a family of her own. She needs a family who can provide her with love and therapies that are simply not available in her orphanage.
She is 2 years old and started living at Bethel at the end of 2015. She arrived very weak and couldn’t sit up, but with some intervention she is now able to sit up, hold up her own head, and stand with support. She still loves to be picked up and snuggled, which everyone is happy to do because she is such a sweet, adorable little girl!
She is blind and has low muscle tone and some feeding issues. Her caregivers have been working with her but she still struggles to move independently. She can sit up for about 30 minutes but she gets tired and often needs support. She also has a hard time swallowing and needs her food chopped up for her. She is nonverbal but she responds to her name and she gets excited when her caregivers tell her it’s snack time or time to go play. She loves being outside!
Olivia is ready to be adopted! She is currently listed as “Harriet” with WACAP. You can contact them at CKids@nullwacap.org
