Katy’s personality:  Precious Katy is said to be extroverted, polite and curious. Her file states that Katy likes to dance to “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and play with her friends. During Lifeline’s Unadopted team’s visit, Katy was said to be playful and that she liked to give her foster mother kisses.

Katy’s diagnosis are: Trisomy 21; 2. CHD: postoperative VSD repaired and PFO suture; mild tricuspid incompetence

Katy loves to have fun! She likes to pick a buddy and be with that person for the entire day. During our trip to the zoo, her buddy was my husband. They stuck together all day. Katy wasn’t too fond of walking around the whole zoo, so she rode on my husband’s shoulders for the entire 2 hour zoo visit.

She loved being up high and waving to other zoo guests. Katy loves to laugh and be silly! She loved to be moving—whether that be riding in the Target shopping cart, swinging, or sitting on someone’s shoulders. During our shopping trip to Target, Katy picked out a pair of glitter dress-up shoes.

When we got back to camp, she didn’t take those shoes off. She “clicked clicked clicked” all over camp with her pretty new shoes on. Katy is a full of energy and a really special little girl
