Meet Davie! This adorable little guy is turning 2 in November 2017

Special Needs/Medical – Davie came into care as a baby, and was found to have vision impairments. His right eyeball is smaller than normal, and he has a white, cloudy nebula on his left cornea. Davie has some limited vision. He also has the developmental delays seen so often in orphans with vision issues. Davie’s overall health has been good (one stay in the hospital for pneumonia a while back).

Environment – Davie was able to spend several months at Bethel, where he was progressing well. However, he along with many others, were called back to their orphanages in April 2017. He no longer receives the excellent training and care available for kids with vision impairment at Bethel.

These photos were taken a few months after he returned to his orphanage.
