Sweet little Ashley was born in May 2011. She was “Scout” with Wasatch International Adoption. This agency has a wonderful updated video of her. Here is a photo from that video! I’m assuming she is on the shared list now..

Her special needs are listed as pulmonary artery valvular stenosis and Cerebral concussion. She was less than four kilos upon admission to the institution.

An update from April 2015
-No further CT scans or pulmonary tests have been performed.
-She hasn’t had any surgeries or procedures.
– She is not showing any signs of cyanosis (the appearance of a blue or purple coloration of the skin or mucous membranes due to the tissues near the skin surface having low oxygen saturation).
-She does not have clubbed Toes and/or fingers.

-She can walk with assistance.
-She plays with toys.

-She does not have breathing problems.
-She is healthy.
-She cannot speak yet.

-Her intellectual developments are delayed/behind her peers.

An update from June of 2014 mentioned that she had never had a concussion that the SWI knew of, so that seems to be an error in the file. Her file also states that her cardiac function is normal. The update from June of 2014 also stated, “Her muscle tension is weak. She can stand while holding onto something. She cannot walk. We don’t see her lips and fingers turn purple. She can make sounds but she doesn’t babble. She doesn’t seem to react much to the outside world.” She was over 9 kilos at that time.

Hopefully we can get another update soon and see how she is doing. This sweet girl needs some love, a mama, and out of the institutional setting.

This little one with need a family to step out in faith for her, being open to some unknowns. The most important thing is that Ashley needs a loving and stable forever family.

Ashley is on the shared list. If you are interested in learning more about how to adopt Ashley, please send me an e-mail.

Here are some younger photos!
